Yes, that’s right! Most of my time today was used to search for jobs in Upwork. My husband mentioned this site to me for quite a while now. This is where he usually gets his online job from. I remember that he also used oDesk, but he just told me that oDesk changed their name to Upwork. Anyway, I helped him look for possible jobs. I started searching for online video editing. But I realized that I can look for something light and familiar to me. I thought that I might actually find a job for me too. I typed children, play, teaching, chemistry and health. Surprisingly, I still found a lot of video editing jobs. So, today I learned that you don’t have to just search for video editing. You can use different words and just play with the words and you will actually end up finding the job that you are looking for. We found a lot today. My husband just submitted a proposal and we’re once again hopeful that we get a positive response.

Book Reading Thursday

My husband needed to return some technical drawing papers to the bookstore today. I tagged along with him. I planned to buy new books for Arya. We signed her up for an online class, but she still has workbooks for her to work on. Initially, she did not like it because she expected for more arts and crafts materials. She finally agreed to work on each book. It made me happy. The books were expensive. She wrote her name on each book. We stopped after the second book because she played with her sand box. We stopped after the third book because we have to eat our dinner. Now, I want to do another round of work. I told her that we will do it after I finish with my blog. She was totally fine with it because it gave her time to play with her new Barbie online game. I think this is what you call a win-win situation.

Flowers for Mom

May was the month of Mama Mary and flowers. We did not get the chance to buy anything because of the lock down. I was happy that the florist had some yesterday. The purple lilies have a sweet and calming smell. Mom was also happy with the flowers. I think it made her day. Mom loves flowers. She loves plants in general. We will talk about her plants in my future blog.
