Arya likes dinosaurs from when she was two years old. Now, that she is four years old, she started to like them again. It is all because of the TV show called Dino Dana. She likes to pretend that we are all dinosaurs. She likes to follow the dino experiments that she watched in the show. I am glad that she likes them again because it exposes her to scientific method and skills. Here is a video of the Dino gathering that Arya and my husband created.

Gloomy Monday

It was a gloomy Monday. The sky was filled with rain clouds and it even rained twice today. It was a perfect day for a good nap. I don’t really like to take afternoon naps. But I wished I took a nap today. My eyes are strained from prolonged exposure to the computer screen. I was reading articles about teaching math to preschoolers. I am going to share more about it in my next blog.

Our Seeds are Growing!

I am so relieved that the seeds that we planted last week started to grow. Arya and I planted bitter gourd, tomato, lettuce and squash. It felt good that they grew especially that Arya was the one who planted them. I only assisted her. I want her to feel that she can make things grow. The rain today was even perfect for the growing seedlings. Thank God for the rain!
