Yesterday, I could not write a blog. It was not because I have nothing to talk about. But because something happened at work that stopped my thoughts for a while. Trials. Why do we have them? JR and I are always looking forward for a better day. A better year, when we don’t have much worries and concerns. We were looking forward for it last year. But something happened. We were looking forward for it for this year and then something happened again. We try to tackle down each concern as much as we can. So, we could have a year when we can relax like everybody else.

The Unexpected.

We know that we can never prepare for everything. That is so true. But, sometimes it bothers me why bad things happen to good people. It bothers me why someone is treated unfairly. I know that life is not fair. But every time, it happens whether to me or somebody else, it always takes me aback.

God’s Mercies.

No matter how we want life to be simple. It’s complexities will still taunt us. JR and I rely on God’s mercies and providence as we journey together. We promised each other that no matter what happens, we will never surrender. The trials may come, the unexpected may happen, unfairness occurs, we will weather them together. So it is not a question of why we have trials in life. It more of clinging to God and holding on to each other, no matter how difficult life may be.
